Toyota Hilux to be launched in India very soon

Japanese automaker Toyota is planning to launch its Hilux pick-up truck in India in the coming months. It will take on the recently-launched ISUZU D-MAX Vcross.
The Hilux will have an eye-catching design and a spacious cabin with many features. It is expected to be offered with a choice of two BS6-compliant diesel engines.

The new Hilux comes in several variants, the looks more aggressive and tough as you go higher up in the range. That said, the recent facelift has brought in some refreshing exterior changes. This includes new LED headlamps & tail lamps, a revised front fascia with extra tough-looking trim, new front bumper design, body cladding, and a slightly revised tailgate also With Interior packed with A 8-inch Touch screen and Specified Comfortable position of Passengers inside throughout Quality and Safety.

The four-cylinder oil burner can muster 201hp and up to 500Nm of torque and can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. There is also a 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine that makes 150hp and 400Nm of torque. Toyota offers the Hilux in certain markets with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder or a 4.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine.
