Renault Kiger will share its platform and engine and transmission options with the Nissan Magnite and this upcoming compact SUV is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of 2021.

The Renault Kiger has a bold appearance and has the signature and sports a slightly off-roading character too. The revealed show car sports the signature Renault front grille with sleek headlamps and the highlight is the sweeping LED light bar above the grille. The neon accents on the body accentuate the look of the B-SUV too.

When it goes on sale, buyers will be able to spec the Kiger from total of four engine and gearbox combinations, which are the same ones available with the Nissan Magnite. A 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will be available with manual and AMT gearbox options. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit, which is expected to produce around 95hp, will come with manual and CVT auto options.

The Renault Kiger will be launched in India first and followed by other global markets.
