Nissan Magnite will launch in India on November 26

Nissan to launch their new model Magnite in India on November 26. The new car will be entering the crowded sub-compact SUV segment which is dominated by the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and the latest addition Kia Sonet. 

Nissan will sell the Magnite in the Indian market with two engine options: a 72hp, 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated unit paired to a 5-speed manual, and a 1.0-litre, turbo-charged unit (HRA0) that’s good for 100hp and 160Nm of torque. The 1.0 turbo-petrol will come with the choice of either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic (with which torque drops to 152Nm). There will be no diesel engine option on the Magnite.

While Nissan India is yet to announce official pricing for the Magnite, but is expected to start with a price as low as ₹5.5 lakh and the top variant may be priced around ₹9 lakh. Nissan Magnite deliveries expected to start next month where test-drive and display vehicles to arrive at dealerships by next week.
