With MG Gloster prices ranging from Rs 28.98 to 35.38 lakh (introductory), the full-size SUV is now the brand’s most expensive model on sale in India. The new MG Gloster will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4.

MG’s flagship SUV, Gloster is now available in a choice of four trim levels – Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy.

The Gloster is the longest and tallest SUV in the segment, measuring in at 4,985mm long, 1,867mm tall and 1,926mm wide. Even the wheelbase, at 2,950mm, is the longest in the segment.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre diesel engine in two states of tune. The Gloster Super and Smart trims come with a 163hp and 375Nm, 2.0-litre single-turbo diesel engine with two-wheel drive. The higher Gloster Sharp and Savvy, meanwhile, pack in the more powerful 218hp and 480Nm, twin-turbo derivative of the same and get on-demand 4WD. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is standard across the range.
