Ford is likely to launch Ranger Raptor pick-up truck in India next year. The company is likely to import this high-performance SUV which is propelled by a 3.2-litre bi-turbo engine.
Based on similar running gear as the Ford Endeavour SUV, the Ranger Raptor however is not your everyday pick-up and is specifically engineered to go fast over rough terrain.
It will be imported as CBU (Completely Built Up) unit under the government’s rule that enables car manufacturers to import up to 2,500 units annually without any homologation process. Therefore, limited units of the new Ford pick-up will be available in the country.
