Audi A4 facelift enters production line, India-launch in 2021

The 5th-gen Audi A4, which is expected to hit the roads by the end of first half of 2021 will almost be two years late  to the Indian market.

Besides having a new 2-litre petrol engine complying with the BS-VI emission norms, the new A4 will have an updated design language. Audi India had decided to offer vehicles only in petrol and other alternate fuel technologies although it ruled out exiting diesel engines totally when the BS-VI emission norms kicked in from April 1 this year.

When it arrives in Audi showrooms in early 2021, the A4 facelift is expected to be priced around the Rs 40-45 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. This would become rivals to the Mercedes-Benz C-class (Rs 41.31-47.14 lakh*) and the BMW 3 Series (Rs 42.30-49.30 lakh^)
