Aprilia has launched the new SXR 125 in India at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The SXR 125 is based on the SXR160 that went on sale in December 2020.
The Aprilia SXR 125 is powered by the same engine that you get in the Aprilia SR 125. The three-valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 9.5hp of peak power and 9.2Nm of peak torque. Besides the 125cc engine, the rest of the scooter is identical to the SXR 160. This means its bodywork and front apron are the same as on the SXR 160. Its LED headlights are, however, inspired by the Aprilia RS660 supersport motorcycle.
The Aprilia SXR 125 can be booked by paying Rs 5,000 online or even at showrooms, once the lockdown is over.
