Tata Motors has commenced production of the all-new Safari SUV, ahead of its launch later this month. This is also the first official reveal of the production-spec 2021 Tata Safari in all its glory. The first production model rolled off the assembly line at the company’s manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, and will make it to showrooms soon.
As for powertrains, the new Tata Safari will borrow the 170hp, 2.0-litre Kryotec turbo-diesel engine from the Harrier, as well as its six-speed manual and six-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options
In addition, Tata Motors has also launched the Tata Safari Imaginator suite that offers a virtual view of the SUV using Augmented Reality (AR), along with a number of interactive features.
Bookings for the new Safari are set to begin soon.
